Web Application Administrator
Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union is looking for a web developer to manage its online banking environment. The candidate's primary responsibility is to deploy and administer ASP.NET eCommerce web applications. Over time, the candidate will also participate in customer facing and internal application development; including mobile banking services, Intranet portals, and reporting. Experience with web and application servers, proxies, database technologies, and various programming languages, is preferred.
Duties
- Deploy online banking applications
- Conduct systems administration and daily application support
- Perform ongoing maintenance and performance optimization
- Project planning for hardware and software implementations
- Develop innovative web applications
Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of web development stacks (e.g. ASP.NET, Java)
- Exposure to web application servers (e.g. IIS, Apache Tomcat)
- Basic understanding of infrastructure components (e.g. Windows Server, MS SQL, VM, SOAP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Driving operational efficiency and automating routine tasks
- End-user support, customer application training, and exceptional customer focus
- Desire to assist with web publishing design and content usability studies
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, release processes, and coding standards
- Ability to self direct and manage workloads in a fast paced working environment
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a technology or business related field and have 3-5 years experience in web application administration.
